[SDGs] Our Effort to the SDGs

Takaishi Industry supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted at the United Nations in September 2015, are a set of common goals aimed to be achieved by all 193 United Nation member states between 2016 and 2030.
In order to goal the achievement, there is a strong expectation for Private Companies to contribute through their technologies and innovative capabilities.

At Takaishi Industry, we have long upheld the ideal of the "Three-Way Satisfaction" based on the spirit of the Omi merchants: “Good for the buyer, good for society, and good for the seller.”
In recent years, we have further incorporated the environmental management system “Eco Action 21” to enhance our environmentally awareness efforts. Through research and development in our hydrogen business—a core part of our growth strategy—we aim to add “Good for the environment” and “Good for the future” to our values, as we actively work to solve social issues.

Takaishi Industry focuses on operating an environmental management system through Eco Action 21, and we incorporate environmental management perspectives into our business planning, striving for continuous improvement every day.

From now on, we aim to use the knowledge and technology we have deepen over more than 75 years in rubber seal industry to tackle social issues together with our stakeholders, both in Japan and overseas.
